According to the U.S. Department of Commerce's National Institute of Standards and Technology, software defects cost U.S. businesses almost $60 billion annually. Whether your firm develops software for internal use or for sale commercially, the AzIT training for your employees can help reduce the likelihood of costly system downtime and rework for both you and your customers. The on-line, self-paced version of the training program is available here and is free. We encourage you to refer as many employees as you wish to this training. The instructor-led version of the training is also available through two community colleges:

Currently, IBM is developing a proctored test for individuals who complete the training. Successfully passing the test will result in a trainee being awarded an IBM-endorsed certification titled, " IBM Certified Specialist – Software Quality". More information about the test's availability and its cost will be posted to this website this summer.
